I love this review of Dirty Dancing.  It's a fresh perspective from someone who just recently watched it for the first time, and the author apparently doesn't share the same sentimental attachment as those of us who were 9 year old girls when it came out.

While I remember it being terribly romantic and making everyone I knew want to be a dancer when they grew up, this review refers to the movie as having "camp appeal, but it also takes itself pretty seriously for movie called Dirty Dancing."

An obviously accurate review, but I still won't change the channel when it comes on TV on a Saturday afternoon :)

You probably saw this movie more than any other. Probably wore out the VHS tape. Wow! Not a big fan. But you were cute watching it anyway.
