This was inspired by compartmentalized Japanese lunch box meals called bento that I have recently become enthralled with. Bento
lunches are carefully and painstakingly prepared with aesthetics in mind and are truly an art form in themselves. I really wanted this painting to reflect the preciseness and simplistic beauty with which these meals are created.

Thanks a bunch. I would like to do more painting, but it can be hard to find the time. Hopefully John and I will have our own art studio someday- he's very creative too!
