This was inspired by compartmentalized Japanese lunch box meals called bento that I have recently become enthralled with. Bento lunches are carefully and painstakingly prepared with aesthetics in mind and are truly an art form in themselves. I really wanted this painting to reflect the preciseness and simplistic beauty with which these meals are created.

John's educational journey begins...
Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life. Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism.
